The social networking, turned news source, Twitter is now rolling out a new update for its app. The update is available for both PCs and Mobile running Windows 10 and brings some bug fixes.

The version number has been updated to 5.6.1.0 and it brings a couple of important fixes. Firstly an annoying bug which caused Direct Messages(DMs) not working for some users has been fixed. Secondly, it has become easier to spot users with a verified tag. There are other fixes in the update too, but they are not mentioned.

Twitter has been an active supporter of the Windows platform since the start. The Mobile and PC apps on Windows 10 enjoy updates almost frequently. Also the feature parity between the Windows and iOS, Android apps are there and so the users are not left complaining. It’s good to see at least some of the major players still going strong on Windows 10 support when others are simply leaving the platform.
