WhatsApp today released a new update for its Stable version app for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. The app has been updated to new version 2.17.114.0. The company has released some major features with the latest update after testing them on its Beta App.
The team has now released the Old Status which was removed with the launch of “New Status” Feature. After backslash from lot of users the company decided to introduce the Old Text Status Feature. The Old Text Status Feature is now available under the Profile Photo with a new name “About”.
The team has also made changes in the Settings section by renaming the “About” name with “Help”. Apart from the Old Status Text feature, you will also now find a new Inbuilt Video player released to the Stable version of the app which is pretty neat for playing the downloaded videos without leaving the application.
The users will also see some new emoji’s added after the update like Clown, dancing girl, etc., along with the regular bug fixes and performance improvements to the application.
