Microsoft today announced that its Translator App for older devices will no longer work after March 20th. The app on devices with Windows 7.1, Windows 8, and Windows Phone 8 will be discontinued after March 20th  2017.

The company also announced that the Translator app for Windows 8.1,  Windows Phone 8.1 will continue to work and will be receiving a new update very soon. However the app on devices with Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile will not be effected and the app will continue to work normally.

The app will be removed from the Respective Stores after April 20th and the users are advised  to upgrade to newer versions before April 20th  2017. The company advice’s the users on older devices with Windows 7.1, 8 and Windows Phone 8 to upgrade to Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile to enjoy using the services of the Translator App.
