Earlier,  Fitbit in a blog post had announced that it is looking for Beta Testers for its Windows 10 Mobile app which is to be launched very soon. The company was collecting users for a closed beta to test their SMS and Call notifications feature after Microsoft added the support for Bluetooth GATT server profile with the Creators Update.

The company has now announced that the Beta for its Fitbit Windows Phone app is now live and users who have provided a valid email address will be receiving a new update with support for notifications.

The Beta testers would be required to be on the latest Fast Ring Insider Preview Build and will receive a new version 2.19.983.0 of the Fitbit beta app. The users would be seeing a permission request screen which needs to be accepted to enable notifications.

The new Beta App also includes a link for the Feedback App for Beta users to provide the Feedback to the developers. To read more on the new Fitbit app you can click this link.
