Microsoft is pushing out an substantial update to the Outlook app on iPhone today. The new feature being added is shared calendars, and it’s quite an important one too.

Shared Calendars allow the user to share his/her calendar with other people. They can view and edit your calendar, if you allow them to do so. The permission settings can be altered from the app itself. The update is also available on Outlook.com users and Office 365 subscribers.

The update has started rolling out, so you can grab it by heading to app store. As for Windows users, there’s no news for the current Windows 10 app. The Outlook app for Windows 10 received the update enabling focused inbox last month, so we expect shared calendars to be available at least after 2 months. Until then it’s a matter of usual waiting.
