Microsoft has released a new update for its Skype Preview App for Xbox One Insiders. With the latest update the Xbox One insiders will now be having the option to send and Receive Files via the Skype Preview app.

There were lot of users who have been requesting the Send and Receive files option for sometime now on Xbox One Console and finally the Redmond Giant has released the most requested feature to its Skype Preview App for Xbox One Insiders.

How the Send and Receive Feature works:

First you would need to connect a flash drive to your Xbox One and try sending a file through Skype. This will prompt the console to open the File Explorer from where you can select a video. The user on the other end will be able to download the file whether he is on PC or Xbox One. ¬†You can now also be able to download Skype attachments to your console and view them in VLC even if it’s a video.

Users now also have the option to share screenshots and videos of gameplay with their friends or a particular group. The above feature did not exist on the Xbox One Console and now the company has delivered the feature to Xbox One users.
