As we all know that the Microsoft held an event to launch Visual Studio 2017. It’s been 20 years since they launched the initial version of the Visual Studio. You might already catch up the live event of launch. In case you missed it. The live stream is already available at https://launch.visualstudio.com and also on the YouTube channel of the Microsoft Visual Studio.

(Well, I am not a professional .NET developer but I am learning it.) So I watched the live stream of the event later on and find out that they added lots of new features and enhancement in the Visual Studio 2017.

They completely revamped the entire debugging and test experience has been enhanced. Visual Studio 2017 is packed with tons of performance enhancements to the core features. They also added comprehensive integration with .NET Core, Azure applications, services, Docker (my favorite) containers, and more.

In addition there are lots of new things in the Visual Studio 2017. You can check the what’s new in Visual Studio from here and where you can also able to download it. Ooh! Almost forgot they also changed the logo of it.

Happy Birthday Visual Studio :)
