Microsoft has released an update for the Groove Music app on Windows 10. The update is currently live for PCs on production ring but should be available on mobile too. Packing a load of new features, Groove Music gets more sharing features and more with this update.

The version number has been bumped to 10.17012.10311.0, and it includes a lot of new features,

  • Share your personal playlists with friends on social media, in email, and in other apps
  • Not decided on Groove Music Pass? Previews for millions of songs let you hear what you’re missing
  • Text yourself links to install the Groove app on iOS and Android
  • Opening links to shared playlists requires that friends are running the current version of Groove
  • Minor fixes and improvements
  • Please note, not all features are available in all markets

It is to be noted, that Microsoft pushed this update to Insiders on Slow Ring last month and is now promoting it to the production ring. But as somewhat strange, this update is still not available for fast ring insiders(read why).

The update is live on the store and you can grab it by hitting this link,
