Billion user application WhatsApp rolling out an update to it’s Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile app. There are so many UI tweaks in the latest update. And in addition the update also bring performance improvement too.

In the latest version of the WhatsApp there are big UI tweak on homepage. The app gets similar UI as the Microsoft People and Microsoft Photos app have. Yes that underlined UI. Same concept for the user profile page.

The latest version of the WhatsApp 2.17.52 have this functionality. Now it seems like that WhatsApp’s continuously moving towards the trend of modernizing. Maybe company will soon completely move the app to the Universal Windows Platform.


In addition the WhatsApp also allow users to share 30 images at a time, previously 10 was limit. So now the more images at a time instead of doing it into batches. And of course the update also bring general bug fixes and performance improvements, with some reporting a minor speed boost as well.
