WhatsApp team today released a new update for its Beta App for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. The app has been bumped to new version 2.17.28.0. The update brings some minor UI changes for the hidden features. Below is the changelog:

- “Statuses” is now “Status” (THE FEATURE IS DISABLED BY DEFAULT)
- Small UI improvement for Status (DISABLED BY DEFAULT – Screenshot below)
These are the minor changes the WhatsApp team has released for the Windows Phone, the features currently are Disabled due to issues with optimization and the team is expected to release these features to the Beta App very soon for testing before releasing them to the official WhatsApp version.
