Twitter last year had released an update to its app on Windows 10 along with Android and iOS which had brought the new Moments Tab to the app. The Moments tab allows users to keep track of important things happening around the world on Twitter.
Now the company has announced that it is planning to replace the Moments Tab with a new Explore Tab. The new Explore tab is currently under testing on iOS and the team will be releasing the Explore tab to Android users soon.
The company today in a blog post had revealed details of the new Explore Tab, the company states:
“Until today, you had to go to a few different places to find each of these experiences. As part of our continued efforts to make it easier to see what’s happening, we’re bringing all these together. Very soon, you’ll be able to find trends, Moments, search, and the best of live video, all within the new Explore tab.  Over the past year, we’ve been exploring different ways to make it simpler for people to find and use trends, Moments, and search. During our research process, people told us that the new Explore tab helped them easily find news, what’s trending, and what’s popular right now.”
The basic idea behind replacing the Moments Tab is the that the company wants to make it easier for users to know what’s happening around the world within the Explore Tab. The company plans to integrate the Explore Tab within the Moments tab for easy viewing of trending news, events for users.
