WhatsApp Team has released a new update for its Beta App for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. The app has been bumped to new version 2.17.22.0. The update for Windows Phone comes with some new features which are currently Disabled By Default. Below is the list of new features:

- New Button to choose contacts that can see your Statuses (Disabled By Default)
- New GIF Layout similar to Android (Disabled By Default)
- GIF button UI Changes (Disabled By Default)
The team have provided some new and great features to the Windows Phone app with the latest Beta Update, but the features are currently Disabled. We would be hoping the company will be enabling these features with the upcoming new Beta Updates very soon.
