Just yesterday MyTube Beta was updated to version 2.9.70.0 with lots of new features and issues for users not running the Anniversary Update. Today, Ryken Studio, the developers of MyTube Beta, the third party client for YouTube updated the Beta App for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile to new version. T

he app has been updated with fixes for the bugs found from the last update. The app has been bumped to new version 2.9.71.0. Below is the full changelog.

Changelog:

  • Fixed the launch crash on devices not running the Anniversary Update.
  • Fixed search button behavior so that it no longer closes the search bar when not on the search page.

The users of Windows 10 Mobile who are not eligible for an official upgrade to Anniversary Update which was launched last year by Microsoft, had issues with launching the app. The app crashed on devices without Anniversary Update.

Having known about the issue the developers now released a  new update to version 2.9.71.0 to fix the crashing issue and other issues with the previous update.
