Back in October when Microsoft announced Windows 10 Creators Update they also demonstrated one of the most exciting feature in Windows 10 which is yet to arrive. Yes, My People App. But now Microsoft made a decision that to hold this feature for the next major update.
My People allow users to quickly access their favorite contacts in Windows 10 right from the taskbar and interact with them easily. You can directly share photo/video/file with your contact with just a drag and drop it on the picture to that contact on taskbar. Not only that My People app also start a quick conversation with your friends and family via Skype just by one click on the taskbar.
Well of course Microsoft policing this features since October 2016 or maybe before that; since they demonstrated it in October. So there might be number of reason behind delaying My People. And of course this is very huge features as it holds so many abilities and new things. In a blog post, Windows Insider Program head Dona Sarkar stated:
As we shared at our event in October, we’re excited to bring your people to the front and center of your computing experience in Windows with the My People experience. Our goal with Windows is to deliver experiences you’ll love and we’ve made the decision to hold this feature for the next major update to Windows.
The next major update of Windows 10 “Redstone 3” which is scheduled for Fall 2017.
