Yesterday WhatsApp Beta pushed out an update to its App for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. The app has been bumped to new version 2.17.16.0. The team has pushed out some new features with the latest update to the Windows Phone users. Below is the changelog:

- New Gallery Icon in WhatsApp Camera UI similar to Microsoft’s Photos App icon, the gallery icon now moved from left side to the right side of the screen.(Screenshot below)
- Two Step verification receives a new option. Now you can add Email address to recover your passcode, in case you forget your Passcode. You will now have 3 options on the Two Step Verification login page. (Screenshots below)
- Bug fixes and improvements.
