Slack developers today announced that the company is adding support for threaded messages. This was the most requested features by the users and the team is working on implementing the same very soon.

The option will allow you to clean up conversations by replying to a message in a thread rather that just @-mentioning the original message. You will be able to send a message on a thread in a channel where the thread was initially started along with adding other members to your team of the thread.

The availability of Threaded Messages for Slack will be rolled out to users over the coming days and should be available to use soon on Windows and Web. Slack’s competitor Microsoft Team is already having the Threaded messages features which was launched by Microsoft some time ago and it integrates with OneDrive, Microsoft Bot framework.
