There is some bad news for the Windows Phone fans with one of the most played game on Windows phone is now about to exit the platform. The makers of Minecraft have confirmed that the game will no longer receive any further updates to its Game on Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile.

The company has taken this decision due to the low usage of the game on Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. Minecraft is one of the game which seems to run on Phone, PC,Xbox or VR headset.

The makers of Minecraft, Mojang is actually owned and funded by Microsoft and since the Redmond Giant decided to withdraw the Lumia Handsets from the market leading to drop in the market share, the makers of Minecraft had to take the decision of not updating the app since it does not seems economically viable anymore.

This would mean more bad news for the Windows Phone users, since the decision taken by the Minecraft makers would only result in further loss of  market share for Windows Platform.
