WhatsApp team has pushed out a new update to its Beta App for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. The app has been bumped to new version 2.17.6. The company has not provided any changelog with the latest update.
There are also no new features visible after the latest update. Hence we can presume that the latest update is to fix some bugs and improve the performance of the app. However the team is yet to fix a bug which has been there for quite some time. The Favourites are still overlapping with the status of the contacts. This bug has been there for quite some time with the app and we definitely hope the team is working to fix the bug very soon.
Also the users are still awaiting the “Status Feature” which we know the team is currently working on and should be released to the users on Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile very soon.
