Asus at the CES 2017 has launched a compact desktop PC thats designed to be a VR ready and can be easily moved around and connected to monitor or TV. The new VivoPC X is not bigger but it includes Intel’s latest Core i5 Kaby Lake processor with a Nvidia GTX 1060 graphics card along with 8GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD Storage.

Basic VR games should run fine on the VivoPC X and Asus has included four USB 3.1 ports and two USB 2.0 ports for VR accessories and controllers. The company has also provided two HDMI ports along with DisplayPort that support Nvidia G Sync display. It has also included side vents that circulate air inside along with a heat pipe that draws heat away. The price of the VivoPC X has been fixed at $ 799 and the device will be available in March 2017.
