Toshiba has announced a new premium convertible laptop Portégé X20W at CES 2017 event. Toshiba’s newest convertible laptop looks premium and offers impressive 16 hours of battery life. Toshiba’s Portégé X20W device is indeed awesome and it comes with a premium design.
The Toshiba Portégé X20W is powered by a 7th generation Intel Core processor. Like any new Windows 10 device, Portégé X20W also supports USB-C port for charging and it also allows faster file transfer. The trackpad on the device supports Synaptics fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, two IR cameras on the device enables support for Windows Hello facial recognition feature on the device.
The Portégé X20W offers five different viewing angles, thanks to the 360-degree hinge. It comes with a 12.5-inch diagonal Full HD multi-touch wide viewing angle display. The multitouch display feature on Toshiba Portégé X20W allows TruPen to detect 2,048 levels of pressure. TruPen offers natural pen-on-paper writing experience, making the Portégé X20W perfect for taking notes, drawing, capturing signatures and completing forms.
The company is also providing wide range of USB-C accessories for the Portégé X20W – It includes the Toshiba WiGig® Dock and Toshiba Thunderbolt® 3 Dock and it will be available for purchase in the coming months.
The Portégé X20W Onyx Blue variant will be available for purchase later this month on Toshiba’s official website. The Portégé X20W Slate Gray variant will be available at Microsoft Store. However, the release date is not available yet but the device will be soon available for purchase.
