As we had reported earlier that the most popular messaging app WhatsApp had decided to end support on some of the older versions of the OS. One of the Older Version of the OS being the First Microsoft Operating System Windows 7.

WhatsApp had confirmed that it will be ending support to Windows Phone 7 at the end of 2016 which is just a week away from today. If any of our users are still using the older or first version of Microsoft’s operating System then they are advised to move to the latest version of the Operating System to continuously enjoy the latest features of the Messenger App which is the widely used messenger around the globe.

Apart from ending its Support for Windows Phone 7, WhatsApp had also confirmed that it will also stop supporting other Operating Systems like

  • Android 2.1 and Android 2.2
  • IPhone 3GS / iOS 6

These are the other Operating Systems which would not be supported by WhatsApp Messenger from the midnight of 31st December 2016. However if any of our users are using versions which are not included in the list will be able to enjoy the support of the popular messaging app as was confirmed by WhatsApp on its Blog some time ago.

So currently if you are using Windows Version 8, 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile then you can continue to enjoy the latest features of WhatsApp.
