Today Xiaomi launched two new and updated variants of Mi Notebook Air. The event was held in the China to launch the brand new products. The original Mi Notebook Air was launched back in July. The updated Mi Notebook Air runs on Windows 10 and it also supports 4G network connectivity in China.
Xiaomi has partnered with China Mobile to offer 4GB of 4G data every month for free. Xiaomi launched two variants of the new Notebook air. The larger variant features 13.3-inch display and the smaller version comes with a 12.5-inch display.
Mi Notebook Air’s 13.3-inch variant is powered by Intel Core i5 processor along with NVIDIA GeForce 940MX dedicated graphics card. It runs on Windows 10 Home. The Mi Notebook Air includes 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 256GB PCIe SSD storage with expandable SSD slot support. It offers 9.5-hour battery life and it can be charged to 50% in just 30 minutes. The new Notebook Air is lightweight with full metal body and it weighs just 1.28kg. It has a Elegant logoless exterior and it makes the device look premium.
Mi Notebook Air’s 12.5-inch Variant is powered by Intel Core M3 processor and runs on Windows 10 Home. It offers 11.5-hour battery life, and includes 4GB RAM + 128GB SATA SSD, expandable SSD slot. It has a 1080p FHD screen Edge-to-edge protective glass with full metal body on back and sides of Mi Notebook Air. It has only 12.9mm thickness and weighs just 1.07kg, which makes the device look even more premium.
The new 4G enabled Mi Notebook Air with 12.5-inch screen is price at CNY 4,699 in China, the international variant will cost around $670. The larger variant of Mi Notebook Air comes with 13.3-inch display and it will will be available for CNY 6,999 or $1000.
