Thanks to the unlimited free usage of data and voice call offer, Reliance Jio has now clocked over 50 million subscribers since its launch 83 days ago which is less than three months after its full fledged 4G services launched on Sept 5th 2016.
Reliance Jio was able to garner 1000 new customers every minute and almost 6 lakhs customers everyday since its official launch.
Jio now is the fastest growing company in the world compared to Airtel, Idea and Vodafone which took around 12 years and 13 years respectively to achieve this feat. Reliance Jio has now become the biggest competitor for Airtel, Idea and Vodafone.
According to the data collected from COAI, Vodafone has 201.90 million and Idea Cellular with 180.25 million subscribers all thanks to the Jio Welcome Offer which will end by December 31st but many reports are doing round that it might get extended till March 2017. Even if the Jio Welcome offer ends the voice calls and roaming services will remain free forever.
