Yesterday we reported that HP Elite x3 is receiving a new third Firmware Update for its device with Windows 10. Now the company has released the changelog. Below is the full changelog of what’s fixed and known issues with the new firmware update.

Changelog :

Area Description
Apps HP Display Tools error popup of “We can’t run that here” is fixed.
HP Device Hub support of accessories firmware upgrade is enabled.
Audio Handsfree double talk tuning parameters updated.
Camera QR code not recognized by certain apps such as Whatsapp, WeChat, is fixed.
Connectivity 3G support for 2nd SIM card is enabled.
Stability Device crash on repeated refresh of certain web sites such as att.com, yahoo.com, is fixed.
User Interface Network registration status shown on Action Center pull down.

 

Also there are some known issues yet to be fixed. Below is the list of the known issues:

Area Description
Apps Skype for Business app cannot be launched from Continuum external display.
Connectivity LAN port of HP desk dock does not have UI configurations.
Security Too many failed unlock attempts, the device will be locked for security reasons. User can unlock the device at https://account.microsoft.com/devices.

The new firmware update has bumped the software to new version 0002.0000.0018.0105 from the earlier version 0002.0000.0014.0100.

As reported the update is live and you can get it by going to Settings>Phone Update>Check for Update.
