Microsoft today is pushing out a new Firmware Update for its Surface Book device. The company this morning has announced the availability of the new Firmware Update for its Surface Book.

Earlier the users have complained that when the device is not in use still there are issues with its touch being working, which had caused issues to lot of users. So guess since Microsoft was aware of this issue it is pushing out a new firmware update.

There was no changelog provided by the company in the morning but now the company has updated the changelog on its Support page in regards to the fixes it is releasing with the new Firmware update.

Below is the Changelog:

  • Intel Corporation driver update for Intel (R) Precise touch devices – Intel (R) Precise touch devices v1.2.0.70 reduce false touch events when the device is closed.
  • NVIDIA driver update for the NVIDIA GeForce GPU – NVIDIA GeForce GPU v21.21.13.6961 improves system stability.
  • Microsoft driver update for Surface UEFI – Surface UEFI v90.1380.768.0 improves system stability.

The update is currently live and you can get it by going to Settings>Windows Update>Check for Updates.
