Last month, Microsoft introduced a big update to its Photos app for Windows 10 to Windows Insiders Fast Ring users. It was then released to Release Preview users earlier this month. Today, Microsoft is pushing the update to the public. It has three major updated/new features:
Improved UI
-ditches the hamburger menu in favor of pivot view (which was first released to Mobile users)
-You can now choose between Light and Dark Mode
Windows Ink Support
-you can now draw anything. It has Ballpoint pen, Calligraphy pen, Pencil, and Touch Writing.
Better Editing
– it adds new filters like Sauna, New, Slate, Rouge and more.
Other new changes are the animations, faster transition, Sway upload via Share and auto-enhance.
