Microsoft has launched an Authenticator App five months ago in Beta form in the Windows Store. The app combines Two Factor Authentication process for Microsoft Azure Active Directory and more.
The app was also launched for iOS and Android in August and Microsoft promised the app will be available for Windows later that week.But finally the company launched the app three months later which is now currently available in Windows Store as an update to the Azure Authenticator App.
Now for Windows 10 Mobile the app was in Beta for last four months, and now the company is brought a new update to the app which removes the app from Beta and is now available for all on Windows Mobile 10.

- User experience refresh. We’ve made the app experience incredibly simple while maintaining the highest level of security.
- Best in breed MFA experience through one-click push notifications. You only need to click the “approve” button in the notification to complete your login. (And in most cases, you won’t even need to open the app to complete the approval.)
- Support for wearables. You can use an Apple Watch or Samsung Gear device to approve MFA challenges.
- Certificate based authentication. Support for enterprise customers to sign in through certificates instead of passwords.
