Skype team released a new update to its Skype Preview App for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile. The App has been bumped to new version 1.9.249. The company has introduced some new features with the latest update. Below are the changes:

Changelog:

  • Under Settings where the web and microphone setup are now at the top of the settings with video preview off by default.
  • The camera not being on there is now a Test Video toggle that lets you turn it on or off. Also, at least on one of our devices Setup is also now removed from the ellipsis menu.
  • Another change we’re noticing less frequent ‘connecting’ screens that caused the app to drop down. With the previous .239 release would see the app reconnect more frequently the latest update seems to have fixed that.

The current update is only available for Insiders in Fast Ring. The update is currently live and you can download the same by clicking on the below link.
