Microsoft had earlier Announced the Availability of Windows Ink at the Developer Conference in March. The company then confirmed that the Inking features will be available for Maps and Photos App.

Today the company had released a new update for Photos appĀ for Windows 10 for Fast Ring Insiders.IF you are currently on Build 14951 then you should be getting the update for the Photos App now. The new app update is available for Both PC’s and Phones, however currently the Pen support is available for PC’s.

You’ll find that it will playback what you drew as you drew it, so you’ll have the option to share your marked-up pictures as either a photo or a video.

Alongside Windows Ink, there are a couple other new features. You’ll find that the cropping experience has been updated, and there are “a whole slew of new filters.”
