Facebook today released a  new update to its official Messenger App for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile. The app has been bumped to version 79.573.44622.0.

The App brings the much awaited feature of Video Calls to the Messenger Application. However currently you cannot use as the same is not yet fully active. The Video Call option appears if you click on profile info of your contact beside the name.

The Phone and Video icon appear (currently disabled) on the Right side of your Mobile in the Profile Info page.

If you haven’t yet downloaded the App you can do it by clicking on the below link.

Do let us know if you can see the Phone and Video option and whether you are able to use it.

This is actually good news since the Video call option has been long awaited by Windows Users. The Video Call option might get activated in the next update which can be expected soon.
