In the last few hours some users started noticing that if you try to link a Google account to Windows 10 Mobile, it won’t work.

I can confirm that happening on the latest build (14393.5), and though it was fixed a while ago, looks like the bug is surfacing once again.

I asked my source at Microsoft, and he said it’s a known bug, and it’s happening mostly because Google changed the authorization for Google Accounts, which leads to the “Your browser is outdated” page.

As it is a known bug, my guess is that someone at Microsoft is working on it, before the vociferated 9th August launch of the Anniversary Update for Mobile
