Indian company RDP has announced the availability of its new ThinBook, claiming it to be India’s cheapest 14-inch Windows laptop coming in at Rs 9,999. The RDP ThinBook is powered by an Intel Quad Core Processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB eMMC  storage (expandable upto 128GB through microSD card) & has Intel HD Graphics. It weighs just 1.5 kg and offers up to 8.5 hours of battery life.

The ThinBook itself comes with a one year warranty, with the power adapter and other accessories coming with a warranty of 90 days.

“We have been making strategic investments towards expanding our OEM partner ecosystem to augment availability of affordable devices across price points and form factors, and our association with RDP for their new affordable ThinBook is a part of our ongoing strategy to further the Windows devices ecosystem in the country,” said Priyadarshi Mohapatra, Country GM (Consumer Channel Group) Microsoft India.
