Microsoft is gearing up to push out the Anniversary Update for all Eligible phones. In the process it is updating some of its core apps by pushing out updates with small and minor features or additions.

The company today pushed out an update to its Offline Maps. Below are the small changes and improvements which could be visible.

Here are the following:

  • New data for the Faroe Island map
  • New data for the Rio maps, awaiting the start of the Olympics
  • other improvements

The update is currently available and you can grab it by clicking on Settings>Systmes>Offline Maps.
