Microsoft has released an update for it’s Outlook Mail and Calendar app. The update is a minor one and doesn’t contain major new features, although there are a few UI improvements.

The Settings view on PCs now fades in instead of sliding in from the right. Also, Microsoft has updated the Live Tile for Outlook Calendar as it now shows more than one event in the Live Tile, which is a nice addition. Additionally, the update also displays Profile Pictures for the notifications from Outlook Mail.

Although it is obvious to everyone, but still, the update would also contain minor bug fixes and performance improvements, as always.

The update is available only to Fast Ring Insiders and may be released soon to everyone else. Download it from here.
