An official Snapchat App could be in the making and might arrive soon in the Windows Store for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile.This news has been confirmed by Spanish Lumia Support team in response to one of our Windows Friend inquiring about Offical Snapchat App for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile.
According to the Spanish Lumia Support account on Twitter, Microsoft is working with Snapchat on a Windows Phone app:
@LumiaSoporte Lo ultimo….
SnapChat…. porque no la puedo instalar…????
No sale en Windows Store
FollowLumia Soporte @LumiaSoporte@GalnRodolfo ¡Pronto llegara a tu Windows Phone! Ya estamos trabajando con nuestros amigos de SnapChat para traerla lo antes posible. ^_^
For those who can’t speak Spanish – in response to a user enquiry asking “Snapchat… why can’t I install it? It doesn’t appear on the Windows Store”, the Microsoft account replied:
It will arrive soon to your Windows Phone! We are already working with our friends at Snapchat, to bring it as soon as possible.
Seeing that this statement is confirmation from a support account, which may or may not have access to this particular piece of information, there is reason to doubt it. However, when contacted via direct-message on Twitter, the spokesperson went on to explain how “everything is on a roll” and looking “positive”, reiterating that a Snapchat app will be making its way to Windows 10 Mobile soon.
Since there is no confirmation yet received from either of the companies, please take this news with a grain of salt.
