Asus has officially announced Transformer 3 Pro 2-in-1 at the Computex 2016 in Taiwan. This device looks a lot like Surface devices. The company today announced the Transformer 3, Transformer 3 Pro and the Transformer Mini.
The transformer 3 Pro has an integrated kickstand that gives the flexibility of viewing angle up to 170°. The Transformer 3 Pro has only 8.35 mm thickness. It has 12.6 inch HD display with a resolution of 2880×1920 pixels. Tranformer 3 Pro is packed with an Intel Core i7 processor, up to 1TB SSD, 13 MP front camera and 16GB of Ram.
On the other hand, the Transformer 3 also packs an Intel Core i7 processor, up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB SSD. These devices come with Transformer keyboard which is backlit and offer 1.4mm key travel. The cover keyboard comes in Charcoal, Taupe, Stone and amber color options. Both of the devices have USB Type-C connector and supports USB 3.1 Gen 2, Thunderbolt 3 connector, built-in fingerprint reader for Microsoft Hello and Harmon Kardon speakers.
If we talk about the third device, the Transformer mini, which has a 10.1 inch display and weigh only 790 grams.
Asus hasn’t announced the release date of the devices. The Asus Transformer 3 Pro starts at $999 while the Transformer Pro starts at $699
