Microsoft’s 3D Builder gets an update with some new features. This update contains fixes and works with the 3D Scan app. It can import webcam and other images. And now you can add bases to uneven objects.

Microsoft’s 3D Builder is a Windows 10 app and you can View, capture, personalize, and print 3D models using 3D Builder. You can download many kinds of 3D files and edit them using the 3D modeling space. You can take a picture with your webcam and make it 3D. You can also Personalize 3D files by embossing your name, or combine models and pieces to make something new. If you don’t have a 3D printer, you can order a professional-quality print of your model from inside the app and it’ll be sent to you by the 3D Systems Cubify service.

3D builder has support for Microsoft’s Kinect sensor, which can make 3D scanning more affordable. You can see the video below about 3D Builder and Kinect.
