A new device by Microsoft, code name RM-1182 has now shown up in images. This phone was previously certified in Indonesia last December. The phone is 3G compatible and features Dual SIM cards. Physcially, the phone dialer nterface looks similar to the Nokia’s dialer interface.
Nokia’s feature phones are well accepted in the market and it looks like Microsoft did plan to retain Nokia’s feature phone business as this leak suggests.
With these leaked images, we can only understand that Microsoft now thinking to launch a cheaper phone replacing the Nokia brand. Although, we are not sure if it’s actually going to happen or it’s just a prototype used for testing.
