Microsoft is working hard to make its browser ‘Microsoft Edge’ popular among the users. Microsoft is releasing new patches and extensions to enhance its usability. But, a new report by analytics.usa.gov shows the slow adoption of Microsoft Edge by the US residents to access the government websites. The report says that there are only 2.6% Microsoft Edge users who access Government websites in the US.

Google Chrome is the leading browser with 43.1% users are using it to access Government websites. Internet Explorer is still in Top 3 browsers. It has 19.1% users. Microsoft Edge users are only 2.6%. Safari browser is positioned at number 2.

61.4% accessed these websites from a desktop, mobile devices users were 32.2% while, 6.3% were tablet users.

Windows 10 is the only OS which offers Microsoft Edge browser and it could be one of the reasons for these numbers.
