Microsoft is already working on the next generation Surface Book. Surface Book 2 was planned to launch in June but due to some design issues, it is likely to be delayed.
New information posted by Digitimes claims that Microsoft may postpone Surface Book 2 to after 2016. Surface Book is supposed to pack with an Ultra HD display and support for Thunderbolt 3.
Microsoft may bring Surface Book 2 with second Redstone wave. The first wave, the Redstone update, is currently being finalised and Microsoft is planning to launch it in this summer named Anniversary Update.
Microsoft is looking to attract its customers by giving $100-$150 discounts on its existing Surface Book laptops due to the weak demand of Notebook markets in the second quarter.
Although there’s no sign from Microsoft about the launch period of Surface Book 2 yet.
