Windows 10 Mobile is officially announced and most of the users are already upgrading their supported Lumias. With Windows 10 Mobile launch, Microsoft now getting Windows Insiders ready to test Windows Redstone, the next major update for Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10.

We already reported, that Lumia 950s, Lumia 550, Lumia 650 and other devices launched with Windows 10 out of box were eligible for Windows 10 Mobile Redstone builds. As promised by Microsoft that after Windows 10 Mobile official launch, supported phones will begin getting Windows Redstone builds in fast ring and later slow ring (hopefully).

Now, Windows 10 Mobile is officially announced for supported phones. Microsoft has finally expanded Windows 10 Mobile Redstone Builds to the following new devices:

  • Lumia 640

  • Lumia 640 XL

  • Lumia 650

  • Lumia 730

  • Lumia 735

  • Lumia 830

  • Lumia 930

  • Lumia 950

  • Lumia 950 XL

  • Lumia 1520

  • MCJ Madosma Q501

  • Xiaomi Mi4

It is worth to note the update seems to be not available to new devices just yet. Maybe, the update will begin rolling out in some hours or Insiders will get more newer Redstone build (on newly added devices) in upcoming weeks. To get Windows 10 Mobile Redstone builds on your smartphone (listed above) download Windows Insiders app and select fast ring, start downloading Windows 10 Mobile Build 14291.1001 which was released few hours after Windows 10 Mobile official launch.
