Where older Lumias are still waiting for Windows 10 Mobile, here many OEMs like Vaio, ACER, HP, NuAns, CoShip are busy to release their new Windows 10 devices. For supporting OEMs in Windows Mobile ecosystem, Microsoft cut down some Lumias to make a gap for them. And at this point looks like the idea is working, there are lots of WM from OEMs and raining of OEMs in Japan.

Like other big OEM Alcatel too believe in Windows 10 Mobile platform, they have already released their affordable OneTouch Fierce XL and the huge 8-inch Pixi 8 tablet (running w10m). Though they’ve also promised a “Superphone” for this platform, which was not introduced in MWC2016.

However MSpoweruser exclusively reported some specs of Alcatel’s promised “superphone” Idol Pro 4. They reported it’ll powered by a  Snapdragon 820 with Continuum support, full-HD display, we all were waiting for this “superphone” in MWC2016 but we all  disappointed, instead they launched Idol 4 and 4s Android smartphone.

But now Nokiapoweruser reported the Idol “Pro” 4 again with whole major specifications. According to them the phone’s specs will be :

  • Very Thin, Metallic body design
  • Snapdragon 820
  • 6-inch, 1080p display (May later be revealed as 2K display)
  • 10 MP FFC
  • 22 MP Rear camera
  • 4 GB RAM
  • Enhanced Continuum for Phones support
  • 64 GB Internal Storage
  • Windows 10 Mobile Redstone 1

From the above specifications you can see this pretty powerful device with latest chipset and decent camera, even the device will shipped with Windows 10 Mobile Redstone 1, even also the leaks are suggesting it’ll have enhanced continuum, though its yet to be revealed.

As you know leaks are leaks always, so don’t hold you breath yet. There are nothing official statement about this flagship, Alcatel didn’t confirm anything yet. However, in upcoming Redstone build we can see some glimpse about the enhanced continuum.

So, let us know in the comment what you think about this Alcatel’s “Superphone” Idol Pro 4.

  • A Cave

If it proves to be true, then you’ll have some serious firepower W10M phones around: HP Elite X3, now the Alcatel Idol Pro 4 W10M super phone, so much for W10M being dead. Enhanced continuum support just is icing on the cake.
