Back in May at the company’s event in Shanghai, Microsoft unveiled the new Surface Pro and they also promised that there would be an LTE variant. At the event, Microsoft confirmed its plan to bring the Surface Pro LTE to the market later this fall and since then Microsoft is silent in regards to the launch of the cellular variant.

A rumour recently claimed that Microsoft might announce the Surface Pro LTE at its London event next month. However, there had been no concrete reports but it appears that the rumours were true as a UK retailer has the listing for the Surface Pro LTE.

LTE-enabled Surface Pro is now listed on UK retailer’s website for pre-order. Surface Pro LTE can now be pre-ordered for £1,132.80 (with VAT) or more, the price depends on the configuration. First spotted by Reve on Twitter, the Surface Pro LTE with Intel Core i5 can be pre-ordered on Misco.

At the Future Decoded event next month in London, we can expect the official announcement from Microsoft and later the listing on big retailers such as Amazon. If you are interested, you can pre-order the Surface Pro LTE from here.
