The third-generation of Surface series, the Surface Pro 3 is still being used widely. Microsoft is also supporting the 2-in-1 detachable device Surface Pro 3 with latest software updates and as well as the Insider preview builds.

Last week, Microsoft pushed two new builds for Windows 10 PCs and Tablets. Windows Insiders with Surface Pro 3 are reporting that they are not able to install the update and if they manage to install the new build, they are facing some serious issues.

Microsoft’s Dona Sarkar has acknowledged the issue and they will share more about the bug later today. As this issue has affected all of the Surface Pro 3s, Microsoft is working on the bug fix. It appears that Microsoft is already aware of these problems and it will be fixed with the next update.

Surface Pro 3 users reported that the device is not booting after installing the build 16288 or 16362. Furthermore, they are also seeing the spinning dots and the device is stuck on the boot screen. It seems that even if you reset the device, the bug won’t fix. You can, however clean install the production build of Windows 10 and use the USB with recovery key.
