Today, Microsoft’s Outlook is facing a major outage and the users have been complaining about the outage since 9 AM PT. As a result, users are unable to send or receive the emails. It appears that Microsoft is already aware of the outage and they are actively working on the reported bug.

However, it has been revealed that the situation may not improve anytime soon, although Microsoft told DownToday that the issue will be fixed within 24 hours. Today’s outage might become the longest outage in Outlook’s history. Over thousands of Outlook users have been affected and they have expressed their frustration on social media.

When you’ll try to send the messages, they will remain in the draft and the error “Something went wrong and we haven’t been able to send your message yet” will be displayed.

“I just spoke to them they are aware of the problem – there is an ongoing system update – they are working to resolve the issue – told me not to worry everything would be resolved with 24 hours,” DownToday’s Maritsa Lemo said.

It appears that the outage is largely affecting users in Europe users and some other parts of the world. Is Outlook working for you? Let us know in the comments below.
