Microsoft recently renamed the Photos app to Story Remix and later to Photos & Video on Windows 10. Brandon LeBlanc from the Windows Insider team confirmed that the company is testing different names for Microsoft Photos with Insiders.

Today, yet another update has been released to the Windows 10 Photos app and Microsoft has once again renamed the app to Photos. The updated version 2017.39071.14510 is currently available for Windows Insiders on the Fast Ring with the skip ahead option enabled.

It is however not confirmed whether or not Microsoft will again change the app’s name. The Windows Insiders have been suggesting Microsoft to launch the Story Remix as a separate app for Windows 10 devices.

Story Remix is a new feature coming to Windows 10 with the Fall Creators Update. With the Story Remix feature, users can stitch the photos into stories. You can also add the transitions, music and even the 3D objects into the photos. To get the update, you’ll need to have the skip option enabled on your machine.
