Microsoft recently ended support for Windows Phone 8.1 but the phones are still operatable. The Windows Phone users who still rock an unsupported device are reporting that the Windows Store is not working for them.

The issue has only affected the Windows Phone 8 Store while Windows Store on Windows 10 Mobile is online. This doesn’t mean Microsoft is killing the Store for Windows Phone, it rather seems to be a server related issues.

Recently, Skype and OneDrive were the victims of Microsoft’s server issues which has increased over time. If you have a Windows Phone 8, the Store will throw error 805a01f4. You cannot view or download any apps or game on the older devices. Microsoft hasn’t confirmed the issue yet, we’ll update the article once we get an update from the Redmon giant.

Furthermore, Windows RT users are also reporting that Windows Store is down for them too. It’s been 6 hours since the Store went down for some Windows Phone users. Are you also affected? Let us know in the comments below.
