Slack Team has pushed out a new update for its App on Windows 10 Desktop and Windows 10 Mobile. The update comes with some new features along with fixes for the application. The update pushes the app to new version 2.7.0.

The latest update brings a new Pausable feature for file downloads for Slack app on Windows 10 PC along with making some adjustments to the app icon. App crash will now show an error message along with a code which can be shared for the developers to fix the app crash.

Windows 7 users had earlier complained of notifications being unreliable which now has been fixed. For users on Windows 10 the team has made improvements to the notifications and will now play the selected notification sound instead of the earlier default notification sound. Users will now be able to cancel a running download and the app no longer crashes.
