While Microsoft Wallet has been the last one to enter the Wallet service platform on their Windows Phone and so have lesser number of Banks that supports them and the current state of the Windows Phone platform is not helping Microsoft.

Microsoft Wallet supports tap to pay in the United States at the moment and the company is yet to announce if the company has any plans to bring tap to pay on Wallet to other countries. Currently the Microsoft Wallet works only on the latest Windows 10 Mobile handsets and Microsoft Wallet won’t work on an older device.
