Microsoft today announced a new and major update for its OneDrive Cloud Storage app. The latest OneDrive app update is available for all macOS users. The latest update includes context menu options for the OneDrive app for mac users.

The latest update has bumped the app to new version 17.3.6916, it brings more options for users to quickly manage files stored in the cloud. After the latest update, users will now be able to share a OneDrive Link, Access more OneDrive sharing options, view file online and choose OneDrive folders to sync.

These options are available for Mac Users by right clicking on a file or folder. Users would however need to enable OneDrive Folder Extensions and restart the macOS after installing the latest version of the OneDrive app.

Microsoft has also updated the Activity Centre with the latest update which provide information in regards to the location in which the downloaded file has been saved or uploaded. This makes it easy for users to work with multiple items.

The Redmond Giant has also made sure to increase the maximum file path limit for education accounts in OneDrive. The latest update to the OneDrive app is currently live and macOS users can download it by clicking the below link.
